NEW YORK, March 22, 2010 - The parents decide the kids are mature enough
to read a book that was formally banned in an all-new episode of "South
Park" titled "The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs," premiering on
Wednesday, March 24 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

The boys are given a controversial book to read in school that both
excites and inspires them to write one of their own. When the boys
discover that Stan's mom has found their masterpiece, their new
motivation is how they can stay out of trouble.

EA Sports To Sue South Park Creators Over Tiger Woods Episode

Last night the Season Premiere of South Park Season 14 aired around the world, attracting 3.7million viewers in the USA alone. It was known before the airing of the episode that it was to be based around the Tiger Woods sex scandal and that the episode would be called “Sexual Healing” – however it wasn’t officially stated that the game would also revolve around Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, the video game that will be releasing later this year. Earlier this afternoon a source close to the development of the popular video game franchise contacted Daily Informer to let us know of EA’s disgust. Hit the jump to read the full story.

The episode cuts to scenes of Tiger and his wife Elin physically beating each other up, which later on appears to be a level from the new game “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11”. They also turn the car crash that first brought the scandal to the world’s attention into an action sequence, and later transform the game into a Side-On-Fighter – similar to Street Fighter IV. Hilarious, yes – however it seems as if the guys at EA Sports don’t think so.

When our source at the company contacted us, he said that “soon after the airing of the episode the top beef were called in, even Peter Moore was informed of the situation” he continued to say that “before the episode aired the marketing folks were already worried, but now they have a lot more to worry about”. Our source later goes into details about a possible lawsuit, saying that “while I personally found the episode quite funny, there are definitely a few copyright infringements in there that I’m sure will be dealt with accordingly”.

Seeing as Trey Parker and Matt Stone have fended off some enormous lawsuits in the past, we can’t see that this will be a huge problem for the creative duo. We’ve been in contact with EA regarding this and are currently waiting for an official response.
