A man who shares the same name with TV's most famous meth dealer - Breaking Bad's Walter White - is wanted by authorities in Alabama, for making meth.
The real life Walter White, who is currently wanted in Tuscaloosa, was placed on probation after a 2008 conviction for making methamphetamine. The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office recently placed the 55-year-old on its most-wanted list following his arrest on similar charges in Bibb County this year. Like his TV namesake, played by Bryan Cranston, White is wanted for manufacturing and distributing the drug, a powerful amphetamine which has been dubbed hillbilly cocaine. According to court documents, he was placed on probation in Tuscaloosa County in 2010 after being arrested in 2008 on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of precursor materials. The fictional Walter White, from AMC's hit show is a mild-mannered high school chemistry teacher who becomes a ruthless drug baron to help support his family after he's diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. The show, created by Vince Gilligan, stars Cranston alongside Aaron Paul who plays a slackers former student of White, who team up to manufacture and distribute huge quantities of the drug in New Mexico. It is currently in its fifth and final season. Cranston has won three consecutive Emmys.

Walter White, the remissive cancer victim and love child of Dog the Bounty Hunter and Calista Flockhart once told reporters about his discovery of "Hillbilly Cocaine". After a battery explosion in Grandaddeh's stolen truck, a sizeable chunk of lead and acid landed in the cough syrup on the nightstand. Overnight the concoction burned the bottom out of the bottle and landed in the ashtray igniting a pack of matches before falling in the cats litter box. In a drunken haze Mr. White reached out in the wee hours of the evening mistaking the chemical soaked kitty roca for a cigar and did what anybody from the Ozarks would do. He smoked that shit to the neck. Further tweaks to the recipe during the next few months rewarded Walter with a very lucrative and readily available future. And you thought the only success story from the region was Bill Jeff Clinton. Shame on you.
