Rap veteran AZ may see retirement approaching but the "Life's A B*tch" rhyme spitter has a trick or two stored up his sleeve alongside Queensbridge rapper Nas.
"Friends become strangers just to destroy an rebuild... Nas u think they ready? D*mn the rap game is about to get a face lift!!! I'm reloaded," he tweeted August 4th. (AZ's Twitter)A few days ago, Nas said he has linked back up with AZ. "Just got off the phone with AZ. RT @Hassansins: @nas still tight with az? #asknas," he tweeted in response to a Twitter follower August 3rd. (Nas' Twitter)

Though he remained mum on which collaborators would appear on his upcoming LP Life is Good, Nas did reveal that he's recorded with Salaam Remi, Jay Electronica and AZ, and hopes to duet with Scarface. "There's a certain sound in hip-hop that I love so some of the album may give you a Nineties feel," he said.

Emanon co-founder Exile, who handled production on the acclaimed Below The Heavens with Blu and Boy Meets World with Fashawn, is lending his hand to Nas’ forthcoming LP, tentatively titled Life is Good, according to a notable source choosing to remain anonymous.
HipHopDX has exclusively learned about Exile’s involvement but neither Nas’ management nor Exile would confirm. No music from the two has surfaced - yet.
