if they put drake on the chorus and have Weezy, Yeezy, and Em put out some heartfelt lyrics, it could turn out good, but you know everyone is gonna try and come lyrical and outshine one another and make for a slaughterhouse type collapse

I do believe that Em and Drake can come with something nice if Drake ends up having a verse.

Also Wayne and Ye have the potential to not put out garbage verses, maybe working with someone like Eminem will inspire them to actually put some thought into all 2/3 of theirs depending on whether Drake gets off or not

I don't think the song will be bad nor do I have a problem with Drake. My problem with the collab is that everything is easy for Drake. It's annoying. Everyone is just throwing him on everything undeservedly. Like I said, the other 3 are the biggest stars in rap. All have been around awhile, sold millions of albums. Then we got drake who gets to be on the track just cuz he's the cool thing for the moment

I agree with Memph, even though I fux with Drake I would have liked for him to go the same way Wayne went to the top. Officially start with YME and slowly climb up until you proved yourself somewhat to even be considered to be on a song with collabos like these.

But people jump on and off bandwagons like it's nothing nowadays, so it doesn't surprise me and it won't surprise me when Drake goes platinum in a week, if he drops the album by the end of this year.

If I were him I would be smart and ride that wave now. He needs to drop that album asap before the hype dies down completely and he can't sell anymore.

It went right with the movie, it was like perfect for a moment that you want to be forever. And when he decided to put Wayne, Drake, Kanye and Eminem on it [together], it just makes is better. It’s one of those songs fans will really want to hear forever. It’s that type of feeling.”

Lil Wayne as long expressed a desire to on a track — and now, he’s done it.

To add to all of these developments, I can confirm that it’ll have the same beat as , but it features new verses from Drake/Wayne, as well as possibly a new hook:

“There’s gonna be an unexpected feature on the hook,” he said. “Right now we have three different R&B singers writing the hook to see who comes up with the best one. I’mma be shocked. So I can’t tell you who it’s gonna be.” On the original, Drake performs double duty, rapping and singing the chorus.

And while “Swagga Like Us” was performed on the Grammys but never got a video, plans call for Drake, Wayne, West, and Em to shoot a clip for “Forever” next month in New York, Paul said, directed by Hype Williams.
